“If tomorrow’s supply depended on today’s thanksgiving, how much would I have tomorrow?

I love love love the challenge today! This is somewhat exactly what i have been saying. We often forget the ‘little things.’

Day 5

Ephesians 5:15-21

There’s so much i have to be thankful for… so many things to list…

Thank you Lord for email and the internet and being able to stay in touch with everybody i want to, for my fingers that can type, for laptops, for blogs, for toes that can wriggle in the sand, for Nemo, for door knobs and for keys!

Thank you for mobile phones and TVs and fans and electricity (although i do think Lord, you need to talk to these electricity guys in Gurgaon and tell them we aint getting lots) and airplanes and cars. Thank you smiles and emotions and glasses and clothes!

Thank you for sweet words and languages and music and song. For poems and great friends. Thank you for washing machines and 2 minute noodles and ready-to-eat box food, the bachelors owe you one!

Thank you for the people who care about me from a distance and only wish the best. Thank you for love and free will and for being as forgiving as you are.

It’s really easy to overlook the good things and the mundane and not be thankful for ‘everything.’ But when you actually sit down and think about it, and be thankful for all the small things… You feel so happy… so fulfilled and you want to give more and love more and reach out and figure the problems you have arent really that big.

Happy Sunday! All my love.
